Cinnamon court digital activities and engagement

For the past few months, I’ve been working with a day centre in Deptford, steadily building the confidence and awareness of the care staff, and having fun playing games and activities with the clients. Like other organisations working with older people (and many have the onset of dementia), digital engagement has begun with buying in the hardware, and then supplying internet access. Unfortunately there was a real lack of skills in the team, even though they were all owners of digital devices. I’ve found the sessions really interesting, presently I am having dialogues with the arts and crafts teacher, as there are surely more options for creativity.  the case study can be downloaded here.
